Actor Lane Garrison has recently taped a public service announcement to prevent others from making the same mistake he did during a Beverly Hills teenager death in a DUI incident last December.

Garrison pleaded guilty to felony vehicular manslaughter, felony DUI, and a misdemeanor charge of providing alcohol to minors.

His blood alcohol content (BAC) was .15 after the accident, which is nearly twice the legal limit of .08 in California.

In the announcement, Garrison is shown with tears in his eyes, citing DUI statistics and the following quote:  "Ask yourself if you've ever driven after having a few drinks or have gotten into a car with someone who has been drinking.ā€¯If you answered yes, you were lucky."
