On 11-9-08 at approximately 1940 hours AST conducted a traffic  stop on a red Chrysler sedan near mile 188 Glen Hwy for an equipment violation.  The person driving under the influence was identified as Michael Vollema, 48 yoa of  Glennallen.  Investigation determined that Vollema had been driving under the influence of alcohol.  Vollema was arrested for a DUI felony and transported to the Glennallen Jail.
